Rare feat

The Highland/Parkside combined girls curling team recently scored an eight-ender, then went on to qualify for the Gore Mutual School girls provincial championship. From left, skip Emily Lloyd, teacher/advisor coach John Weare, vice Lindsay Geerkens, second Danielle Hudson and lead Alyssa Kerr. An eight-ender is a perfect score, with all eight rocks from one team scoring points within a single end.
