Mayea (three goals, two assists) and Ryan Coulter each had five points (two goals, three assists), Foote had two goals and an assist and Chris Dubois had a goal and two assists).
A Wilmot Wild loss last Saturday night helped the Bengals clinch second place in the west division and a best-of-five, first-round matchup against Shelburne. The tentative schedule has the Bengals hosting the Vets July 16, 8 p.m. at Lawfield, July 19 in Shelburne and July 21 at 7 p.m. at Lawfield. If necessary, game four will be July 24 in Shelburne and game five on July 25 at Lawfield.
Halton Hills, with a 14-1-1 record heading into the final week of play, clinched first place in the west.
