The Academie Catholique Mere-teresa Jaguars won their second OFSAA double-A senior boys basketball silver medal last week.
ACMT was edged 52-51 by Mother Teresa (Scarborough) in the provincial high school final. Jean Victor Mukama had 16 points in the final, while Emmanuel Mukana had 10 points.
Last year, the Jaguars were defeated by Vaughan Road Collegiate in the final. ACMT is a single-A population school, but after several championships at that level the team moved up to compete at the double-A level.
ACMT was runner-up to Cardinal Newman in the Hamilton Catholic city senior boys championship.
