Clancy Almas takes CLL post

Clancy Almas has been named assistant coach of the Niagara Lock Monsters of the Canadian Lacrosse League.
Almas has coached the Jr. C Hamilton Bengals since they began playing in 2011, bringing them to the Ontario Final Four the last two years. He will continue to coach the local squad.
With the Lock Monsters, Almas will be overseeing the defence, which was second in goals against last year and boasts reigning CLL goalie of the year Connor Danko.
The Niagara Lock Monsters, based in St. Catharines since 2012, started in the CLL as the Peel Avengers in 2011.
Almas previously coached with the Hamilton Nationals pro field lacrosse team and has also coached Team Ontario numerous times.
