Nicholas Ross is the third member of Dundas’ first family of golf to head to the NCAA.
Following in the footsteps of older brothers Andrew (Arkansas State University) and Christopher (Eastern Michigan University), Nicholas will join the Eastern Michigan Eagles men’s golf team for the 2014-2015 season.
Ross is currently the No. 5 ranked junior in Ontario according to the Golf Association of Ontario (GAO) and is ranked No. 6 by the Royal Canadian Golf Association (RCGA). A three-time American Junior Golf Association Champion, he is also ranked No. 17 in the 2013 class, with a pair of wins this past summer at the AJCA Championships and at the Randy Wise Tournament.
Ross finished third at the Ontario Boys, eighth at the Canadian Junior Boys and 14th at the Ontario Men’s Amateur.
Father Stephen Ross was executive director of the Royal Canadian Golf Association for 18 years, is a member of the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame and is currently the owner-operator of Oak Gables Golf Club and Learning Centre, where oldest son Andrew serves as director of golf.
