Donna Graham, coordinator, Dundas Cactus Parade Inc.
Let’s all be thankful once again for a perfect summer evening to pause, relax and be entertained.
On behalf of the Dundas Cactus Parade committee, I would like to extend our sincere thanks to all parade participants, volunteers, marshals, escorts, banner carriers, photographers, Community of Dundas/City of Hamilton work crews, the police, Dundas residents and businesses.
Special thanks to Ruthlyn, Rita May, Duncan, Sonya and Adrian, John, Joan and Wolfe, Sue and Dari, Bob, Jeff, Wanda, Peter, Hilary, Arlene, Trish, Charmaine, Gerry and Paul and Andrea for their tireless effort in preparation of this much-loved community event. A very special thanks to Courtney Workman and the students of Columbia College who carried the parade banners.
Thank you to Crossroads, Cruickshanks, Galers, Grisdales, and Hamilton Conservation for their continued support to keep the [arade in motion, as well as the Dofasco Orange Team and the Hammer City Roller Girls.
Thank you Milica, Steve and the Toonie Collectors, Team Scotia, the Hamilton Ti-cat cheerleaders and everyone for their generous contributions, making this year’s Toonie Collection a success.
A very special thanks to all of our sponsors and donors, and to Debra Downey for their generous and continued support.
We still have copies of 35 Years of Celebration, a commemorative pictorial of past parades. Order online at firstname.lastname@example.org. All contributions to next year’s parade.
Now is the perfect time to join us as we begin preparations for the 2014 Dundas Cactus parade. Call Donna Graham at 905-628-0838 for information. Details can be found at www.dundascactusparade.com.
