Re: Ancaster Senior is a house divided, Oct. 3.
My information is there were behavioural problems like intimidation and food fights at lunch time and the new policy has solved the problem.
Since this is a safety issue, we should be celebrating the solution, not grandstanding a few disgruntled students and parents. Surely they can survive for 20 minutes without their friends. They might even meet some new friends.
If a specific student is uncomfortable in a particular house, I am sure he or she could request to be moved to a different house. Kudos for solving a difficult problem with only a few unreasonable dissenters.
