Hamilton police continue to investigate after two men robbed a woman at gunpoint outside Eastgate Square on Sunday.
Const. Debbie McGreal Dinning said the thieves approached the 28-year-old victim in the parking lot at about noon as she was leaving her shift at a drug store.
One of the men pulled out a handgun and threatened to shoot her if she didn’t hand over her purse, which contained cash, identification and makeup. The woman complied and the robbers fled on foot.
The gun-wielding suspect is described as native and about five feet nine inches tall. He wore a red hoodie, red bandana partially covering his face and dark jeans.
His accomplice is described as white and five feet six inches tall with a heavy build. He wore a black hoodie and dark jeans.
