A 15-year-old boy faces several gun-related charges after someone fired pellets at passing motorists on the Mountain on Boxing Day.
Spokesperson Catherine Martin said Hamilton police were called to a disturbance involving a handgun at the corner of Upper Sherman Street and Mohawk Road at about 7:30 p.m.
The teen allegedly had been shooting cars with a BB gun and assaulted a motorist who stopped to challenge him when his vehicle was hit. A second motorist stopped to intervene.
Police arrested the teen and seized the BB gun.
