A 24-year-old Stoney Creek man faces impaired driving charges after his truck was stopped by police in east Hamilton Wednesday evening.
At approximately 9 p.m., Hamilton police stopped a suspected impaired driver in the area of Barton Street East and St. Matthews Avenue. The driver of the pick-up truck showed signs of impairment and was arrested without incident. The driver blew over two times the legal limit for alcohol in breathalyzer tests.
The man was released on a promise to appear in court.
