Kevin Lytwyn captured three medals at the XX Commonwealth Games July 23 to Aug. 3 in Glasgow, Scotland. The 23-year-old Stoney Creek native and Canadian men’s gymnastics team member earned a bronze as part of the team, silver in rings and bronze on the high bar.

Stoney Creek gymnast takes two medals at Commonwealth Games

Stoney Creek’s Kevin Lytwyn has won a silver and bronze medal so far at the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.

After already winning a bronze as part of the Canadian men’s artistic gynmastics team, Lytwyn, 23, took silver in the rings on July 31, just behind Canadian teammate Scott Morgan of North Vancouver, B.C.

Lytwyn and Morgan were both part of Canada’s artistic gymnastics team which captured bronze on July 29.

Lytwyn is also competing on parallel bars and high bar at the Glasgow games.
