Artist concept of Hamilton's new Pan Am stadium.

Oskee Boo Hoo!

Tim Hortons Field only half baked

Don’t expect to watch the Tiger-Cats prowl at the new Tim Hortons Field until August at the earliest.

Word from Hamilton city hall today is that the new Pan Am Stadium will not be ready for the Tiger-Cats’ July 26 and July 31 home games as the stadium will not be safe and ready for occupancy.

City officials say they will work closely with Infrastructure Ontario, the contractors and the Tiger-Cats to get have the stadium ready at the earliest possible time.

There is no word yet from the Tiger-Cats as to where their July 26 game against Ottawa and July 31 game against Winnipeg will be played.
