A 47-year-old Stoney Creek man faces drunk-driving charges after drawing attention on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and going on a joyride in a parking lot.
Spokesperson Catherine Martin said a witness called Hamilton police just before midnight on Nov. 29 to report that a westbound vehicle was weaving in his lane and nearly hit a guardrail.
Police located the driver as he was driving in circles in a Meadowlands parking lot and arrested him. He refused to submit to a breathalyzer test.
Released on a promise to appear in court, he is charged with impaired driving and refusing a breath test.
