Patricia Gagic has been invested as a Knight of the Order of St. George.
Gagic, an Ancaster resident, is an international contemporary artist, photographer, author of Karmic Alibi, business owner, mentor and life coach. She has dedicated more than 45 years to volunteering and philanthropy. Gagic is an advisor to the board of Free the Children, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, Ronald McDonald House, the Good Sheppard Centre, the Bach Elgar Choral Society and the John Howard Society. She is a co-founder of The Colours of Freedom Foundation.
A new member is nominated to the Order of St. George based on the contribution he or she has made to their community or humanity. The original society founded in 1326 was a Royal Military Order of Knighthood, which today operates with the principle objective of fundraising activities to support the military through such organizations as the Military Families Fund, Camp Maple Leaf and other related active duty and veterans groups and charities.
