Dundas’ Mackenzie Hughes missed the cut after the second round of his first eGolf professional tour event, Friday.
Following a two-over-part 74 in the opening round of the Palmetto Hall Championship on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Thursday, Hughes opened the second round with two straight birdies for a two-under-par start after two holes.
Two bogeys left him even par after nine, but four bogeys and no birdies in the final nine holes weren’t enough for Hughes to make the cut – which was four strokes better than his six-over-par for two rounds.
Hughes moves on to the next eGolf Tour event – the Oldfield Open in Okatie, South Carolina from February 20-23.
