Dundas’ Mackenzie Hughes continued a marked improvement on his third eGolf Tour professional event, finishing tied for 19^th on the weekend,  and taking home $1,747.40 from the Irish Creek Classic.

Hughes, 22, shot rounds of one over par 72, one under par 71, even par 71 and one over 72 to finish one over for the tournament.

The Highland Secondary School graduate has improve his scores, overall finish and earnings each time out, dropping his scores from 74 and 76 in his first eGolf event – where he missed the cut – to three rounds of 73 at his second event, to four rounds of 72 and 71 last weekend.

Hughes’ total earnings in three events over less than one month is $2,647.40.
