Hamilton police seek same suspect in two east end indecent acts

Hamilton police are looking for a man they believe is responsible for two separate indecent act incidents in east Hamilton.

On Monday, July 28 at 9:30 p.m., an 18-year-old woman was walking in the area of Mount Albion and Albright roads when she noticed a man standing on the north side of the road staring at her.  As she approached the man he attempted to get her attention by whistling. The woman ignored the whistling and continued walking through a nearby parking lot.  When she came out of the lot she saw the man standing ahead of her, exposing himself.

The woman ran home and reported the incident to police.

In the second incident the same male suspect was reported in the area of Congress Court at approximately 8:50 p.m. The male was observed masturbating between parked cars near two young children who were playing nearby.

When the children’s parents realized what was happening they chased and confronted the suspect who then drove away in a nearby vehicle.

The suspect in both incidents is described as a white male with a medium build, five feet 11 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds with spiked hair. He was wearing a black dress shirt and dress pants.

Hamilton police division two detectives continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to call Det. McNaughton and Det. Woodard at 905-546-2917.
