A Hamilton 19-year-old man is charged with two counts of assault with a weapon after two youths were stabbed in a parking lot at Eastgate Square.

Police spokesperson Catherine Martin said the attack occurred during an altercation involving five male youths at about 11:30 p.m. last night.

The two victims, aged 17 and 18, were sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
