Last week’s rain put a slight damper on the schedule but not on the excitement of neighbours and students passing by to view the extensive excavation of the grounds at Dundas Central School.
“This project has been made possible with the tremendous support of many local families and businesses who have donated their time and money, materials and equipment to make it happen,” said Michelle Chin, chair of the Dundas Central community playground committtee. “Dundasians truly care about the children who are its future and the continued vitality and vibrancy of the town.”
Community volunteers are needed daily — weather permitting — for general labour, carpentry, sanding, grinding and chainsaw work. Detailed updates will be posted at the school, Picone Fine Food and on the project website. If you can lend a hand, contact email@example.com.
