A 19-year-old Ancaster man faces drunk-driving charges after being pulled over by Hamilton police on Golf Links Road early this morning.
Sgt. Terri-Lynn Collings said police stopped the driver’s Honda Accord by the intersection at Kitty Murray Lane at 4:30 a.m. on suspicion he was impaired.
The driver did indeed show signs of intoxication and was taken to the police station, where he blew over the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood in breath tests.
He was released on a promise to appear in court after being charged with impaired driving and driving over 80.
