Shortly before 6 a.m., on July 31, Jason Simon told his wife he was going to pick up breakfast at a local restaurant. His wife became worried when he failed to return to their downtown home.

Simon was last seen in the area of Macassa Lodge, located at 701 Upper Sherman Ave. He is believed to be in possession of an orange tent and has previously camped in the Gage Park and rail trail areas.

Hamilton police and Simon's family are concerned for his well-being and are asking for the public's help in locating him.

Simon has a medical condition for which he requires medication multiple times a day. He took his morning allotment of medications but will need them throughout the day.

Simon, 42, is a white male white with a darker complexion. He is about five-foot-eight, 310 pounds, with dark hair and a receding hair line, no facial hair and is missing one front tooth. Simon has tattoos on both arms including a totem pole running the length of his right arm.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue Nautica T-shirt with a black hoodie over top, black pants and white running shoes.
