Police on hunt for Lime Ridge store thieves

Hamilton Mountain News

Hamilton police are on the lookout for two men who robbed a Lime Ridge Mall jewelry store on Feb. 10.

Const. Debbie McGreal-Dinning said two masked men walked into the store at about 8:45 p.m.

One of the men stood watch at the entrance, while the other used a hammer to smash two display cases and remove high-end watches from inside. He placed the watches in a bag and then both men fled the store.

The suspects were seen getting into an awaiting vehicle in the parking lot north of the Home Outfitters doors.

No one was injured.

The first suspect is described as white, 25 years of age and six feet tall, with a medium build and blue eyes. He was wearing brown shoes or boots, light blue jeans, a blue hooded sweater with the hood pulled up, baseball cap with a white brim, dark bandana over his face and dark gloves.

The second suspect is described as white and five feet eight to five feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build. He was wearing white running shoes, dark skinny blue jeans, two grey hooded sweaters with one hood pulled up, a baseball cap with a white brim and dark bandana over his face. He also had a single strap black bag similar to a laptop bag.
