Watson nets winner to put Dundas in first

Cam Watson scored twice, including the game-winner on a power play, as Dundas Real McCoys edged the Brantford Blast 3-2 in Allan Cup Hockey before a near capacity crowd on Friday night in the JL Grightmire Arena.

Dundas has now moved into first place by virtue of its game in hand on the Blast.  Both now have 25 points.

 In addition to Watson, Matt Smith scored once while Scott Mifsud set up two of the McCoys goals. Andrew Lockner and Ryan Healy replied for the Blast.

Coming Events

“Pink in the Rink” – the Dundas Real McCoys will be donating $1 from every ticket sold for their Friday, January 31st game against the Whitby Dunlops in the Grightmire Arena.  The money raised will be donated to the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre - CIBC Breast Assessment Centre.  Game time will be 7:30 p.m.

2014 Allan Cup Tournament packages for all 11 tournament games in April are now available for $200 each.   The tournament packages are available at the arena box office on game nights, and at Com/Choice Realty, 179 King Street West in Dundas, and on line at www.teamccoys.ca
