It's time for the board of public school trustees to reconsider Hill Park school to stay open.
It's the most logical school school for children on the central Mountain. It has a rec centre. It's large enough for more students than Sherwood and on a bus route for easy access from all directions. It would not cost $31 million.
I have a petition with more than 2,000 names on it. It was not hard to get — people are saying to keep Hill Park open. Now school trustees need to listen.
It will be two buses in the morning and two buses at night for our children to go to Sir Allan MacNab — thats almost two hours extra on top of a full school day.
If they will not reconsider keeping Hill Park, then a shuttle bus needs to be set up at a pickup point for ours kids.
