Poster vies for national honours

The Royal Canadian Legion recognized the 2014 provincial champion of its colour poster contest at the Honours and Awards Banquet at the Legion Hall in Dundas on March 8.

Srinidhi Shaw, a Grade 10 student at Westdale Secondary School submitted the winning provincial entry that will now vie for national honours at the 45th Dominion Convention in Edmonton in June.

The colour poster contest is one of four in the Legion’s longstanding Literary and Posters Contests that also includes essays, poems and black-and-white posters submitted by students in the Canadian school system.
