Three different players scored second period goals for the Dundas Blues as the home team earned a 3-1 win, and a two games to none lead, in their first round Niagara District Junior C hockey playoff series against the Chippawa Riverhawks, Tuesday night.

After a scoreless first period, Dundas goals from Dan Pelosini, Josh Wiley and Mitch Reid were enough to put Dundas up for good, as goalie Mark Sinclair stopped 28 of the 29 shots he faced.

Kevin Jaczenko picked up two assists, while Andrew Solow and Jordan Peacock each added one assist.

The best of seven series returns to Niagara's Gale Centre for game three Thursday. Game four is in Dundas at J.L. Grightmire Arena on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 3:45 p.m.
