Stoney Creek News

A 41-year man was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money after being mugged in the men’s washroom at Eastgate Square.

Hamilton police Const. Debbie McGreal-Dinning said the victim was in the washroom at about 4 p.m. on Jan. 22 when he was accosted by the thief, who held out a knife and punched him, stealing his cash.

The thief fled and was last seen leaving through the Queenston Road doors of the mall. He is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He wore a black jacket with “Jets” across the back.
