Drop off coats to help keep others warm this winter

Stoney Creek News

Hamilton Back Clinic is accepting gently used winter coats for adults and children, which will be circulated to those in need within Hamilton and surrounding areas.

Last year's drive collected 902 coats.

Drop off coats at Hamilton Back Clinic, 1600 Rymal Rd. E. until Feb. 1. Coats will start to be distributed as soon as they start coming in so people can wear them right away.

Anyone who donates two or more coats will receive a voucher for any size coffee from Elfrida Tim Hortons, a free cupcake from Beyond The Batter, a two-for-one coupon from Booster Juice - Ancaster and a voucher for free fries from A&W.

In addition, each donor will receive a raffle ticket for prizes donated by Pearson Dunn Insurance, Vicars Vice, Starbucks, April Almeida of Your Choice Realty.

The Back Clinic has also partnered with the Hamilton Firefighters Charity, which raises money to provide treatment for burn victims. For every coat collected, Hamilton Back Clinic will donate $1 to the Burn Unit Fund.

Coats can also be dropped off at the Winona Pearson Dunn Insurance at 1040 South Service Rd. and Studio E music school at 501 Arvin Ave. E.

For information or business owners interested in donating to the raffle draw, call (905) 692-4222 or e-mail info@hamiltonbackclinic.com.
