Are you looking to enhance your hockey skills but don`t know where to begin? Don`t fret, the professionals at Steel City Hockey can help.
Since 1995, our hockey development programs have set a Canadian and International hockey school standard for comprehensive skill development.
Our unique and dynamic skill development programs have been developed by Dan Caco. Caco is the head coach of the Stoney Creek Generals Senior AAA hockey team.
He has also been an assistant coach with the Hamilton Bulldogs of the American Hockey League and the head coach of the Dundas Blues Jr. C Hockey Club. He also coached the Brantford Blast to the 100th Allan Cup title in 2008.
The programs focus on elite hockey skill development and teach and emphasize proper technique, form, speed, and skill as they apply to the game of hockey. All sessions will provide and implement a positive and productive learning environment for the students to gain maximum benefits.
As well, our summer leagues help players condition and develop their game in a fun environment in the off season playing the game they love without all the pressures of winter hockey. They also have a chance to play with their friends that they might not be able to play with during the hockey season.
Whatever your goal is — to enhance enjoyment at the recreational level, to make a rep team, or to compete at the AAA or Jr. level — we’ll help you get there.
Our programs, leagues, and tournaments are offered at two arenas in the Hamilton area, the Gateway Ice Centre in Stoney Creek and the Appleby Arena in Burlington.
At the Gateway Ice Centre, our programs include the beginners hockey program, shooting and puck skills, and forward and defencemen clinics.
