Canadian astronaut speaks to students

Adam Veall, a Grade 4 student at Sir William Osler Elementary School, gets an autograph from Canadian astronaut Robert Thirsk. Thirsk made a presentation to a special meeting of the Dundas Sunrise Rotary Club featuring students from Dundas area schools.

Leadership students donate

Dundas Valley class

From left; Emma Gunn, Ela Levgoren, Adam Lennox and Alec Purnell – along with group member Tyson Litzen who was absent for the photo, did all the legwork to organize their Global Connect class day-long “sleep out” to raise awareness of poverty and homelessness in their school, in Dundas, and around the world.
