Truck driver on cloud nine after lotto win

Dundas resident Keith Evans is on “cloud 6/49” after winning $59,882.40 in the March 12 Lotto 6/49 draw.

The 59-year-old truck driver says he plans to pay down his mortgage, buy a new truck and save some of his winnings for his grandchildren.

“I went to to check my tickets and there they were – my numbers. I couldn’t believe it, ” said Keith. “I had to put my glasses on to be sure.

“I feel relieved. I’m stress free.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Rockton Berry Farm.

Since Lotto 6/49 was launched in June 1982, Ontario players have won more than $10 billion in prizes, including 1,275 jackpot wins.
