Stellar line-up ready to rock the stages for Festival of Friends

Rock ’n’ roll pioneer Ronnie Hawkins will be among the headliners when the 39th TD Festival of Friends rocks the Ancaster Fairgrounds Aug. 8-10.

Loren Lieberman, the festival’s general manager, last week gave music fans a taste of what to expect during the three-day free music festival.

Along with Hawkins, the Burlington band Finger Eleven will perform some of their international hits. Other big names to grace the stage include American country star Pam Tillis, rockers Down With Webster whose music defies classification and Doc Walker

These popular five performers will join 40 others across four stages of live music. The event also features dozens of food vendors, hundreds of crafters, one of Ontario’s largest midways and other events for the whole family.

Admission is free, and Festival of Friends takes place rain or shine. For more information, visit www.festivaloffriends.ca
