Public invited to see students’ science projects

What do hovercraft, hydration, horoscopes, headaches, H20, hearts and human behaviour have in common? They can all be found at the 2014 Bay Area Science and Engineering Fair (BASEF) sponsored by ArcelorMittal Dofasco.
The 54th annual fair will be hosted by Mohawk College from March 26 through March 29 at its Fennell Avenue campus.
The exhibits of this year’s 400-plus participants will be available for free public viewing on March 29 from 9 a.m. to noon at the college’s David Braley Athletic and Recreation Centre.
BASEF participants are students in grades 7 to 12 from Hamilton, Halton Region, Haldimand, Norfolk and Brant counties, and Six Nations.
