Polish carollers start singing Friday

Members of the Polish community will be singing carols outside businesses across the city in the days leading up to Christmas.
It’s the fifth year of the “For us it’s not just a season, it is Christmas time” campaign.
It starts Friday at 6:30 p.m. at James and Cannon streets during Art Crawl.
We are inviting you to come and cover this event on any of the days shown below.
On Saturday, carollers will be at Starsky Fine Foods, 685 Queenston Rd., at 1 p.m.
Sunday at 1:45 p.m., they’ll be at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Polish Church, 8 Saint Ann St.
Tuesday at 5:30 p.m., carols will be sung out front of Walmart at Fennell and Upper James. Starting at noon on Wednesday, they will be at Hamilton city hall, then Gore Park followed by Jackson Square.
On Dec. 20, they will return to Starsky Fine Foods at 6:30 p.m.
The carolling concludes on Dec. 22, with an event at St. Stanislaus at 1:45 p.m. and at Gore Park at 6 p.m.
