A star-studded lineup featuring some of Canada’s most celebrated jazz and blues musicians will gather at the Ancaster Mill on March 3 to Jazz Up the Winter Blues while supporting Good Shepherd’s efforts to fight homelessness in the Greater Hamilton Area.
“This is a tough time of year for a lot of people, but for those who are homeless, the weather creates an excruciating daily challenge for survival,” said Cathy Wellwood, Good Shepherd’s chief development officer. “We want to raise money and raise spirits with this wonderful event.”
Jazz Up the Winter Blues presents the Darcy Hepner Orchestra, Treasa Levasseur & the Daily Special, Paul Reddick & the Weber Brothers, Lily Frost and Canada’s premier blues ambassador Rita Chiarelli.
The event takes place on Monday, March 3. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets for the all-inclusive event are $150 and include gourmet food, bar service, valet parking and live music. A limited number of tickets are available. Visit www.jazzup.ca, call 905-528-6565, ext. 3309, or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
