Chef and farm-to-table advocate Jeff Crump will cook up a home-grown dinner at the Ancaster Discovery Gardens on Sept. 2. Limited tickets are available from www.ancasterdiscoverygardens.ca. Cost is $12 per person or $30 for a family. Children’s activities, tours of the gardens and live music begin at 3:30 p.m., with dinner at 5 p.m.
With the support of more than 70 local businesses and their champion sponsor, Meridian, Ancaster Discovery Gardens’ volunteers have created a whimsical, collaborative garden for the last two years. The gardens have produced more than 300 pounds of food and raised funds for Ancaster Community Services Food Bank.
