Isabella Lecomte collected seven medals from the World Finals of Performing Arts this summer in Hollywood, Calif.

Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts students Isabella Lecomte and Erin Pitt take steps to stardom

Gold for Broadway, gold for opera, silver for contemporary, bronze for pop and bronze for song and dance.

That’s a total of seven medals in what proved to be a very exciting trip to  Hollywood for Isabella Lecomte.

A student of the Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts, Isabella was a member of Team Canada in the World Finals of Performing Arts this summer in Hollywood, Calif. Competitors from 58 countries competed in voice, dance, acting, modeling.

Isabella is one of several students who has studied at the Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts in Dundas and has seen success in the performing arts.

The American Girl movie opening in New York City was a high point for Erin Pitt this summer. Entering Grade 10 at the academy, Erin attended the opening of her most recent film, Isabelle Dances into the Spotlight. Erin is also known for her role in the feature film Against the Wild.

Former student Kaylie Marko is now studying and performing with the English National Ballet, Alexandre Christiansen is studying with the Kirov Ballet in Washington and Addison and Callan Holley perform on stage and television.
