Volunteers are urgently needed for the VON’s Meals on Wheels program.

Meals on Wheels delivers 250 meals a day, five days a week. The VON has about 325 volunteers involved with the program, but more are needed.

The VON says the program helps clients maintain independence and for many of them a food delivery is the only contact homebound seniors have.
