Weir’s Lane Lavender and Apiary Farm Store presents the popular seasonal treat Lavender & Music, July 11 and 12.
The Friday, July 11, event runs from 7-9:30 p.m. and is $35 per person (adults only). The evening features hors oeuvres from Nuldulz food truck, wine, beer and other refreshments, and the music of local musician Michael Maguire.
Proceeds will support the Dundas EcoPark Campaign for the remediation of the Desjardins Canal parklands.
The July 12 event, from noon to 5 p.m. features music for both parents and children, a tour of the lavender farm and a chance to meet local artisans. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages five to seven, or $25 per family (two adults, three children maximum).
Proceeds go to Telling Tales, a one-day outdoor festival, and a year-round commitment to promoting literacy and inspiring a love of reading.
