Ballet Jörgen shares spirit of dance

The Dundas-based Hamilton Academy of Performing Arts recently invited Ballet Jörgen Canada to use the Academy Studios  before Ballet Jörgen went to Hamilton Place for the performance of The Nutcracker.

Three dancers from the academy joined the company class and other students to watch artistic director Bengt Jörgen. The organization engages with communities across Canada to  share the ballet art form and support young local artists aspiring to careers in the performing arts. Ballet Jörgen Canada returns to the area on Saturday, March 15 with a performance of Romeo and Juliet at Hamilton Place.
