An information evening was held recently to discuss community fundraising efforts for the Dundas EcoPark, Hamilton’s portion of the Cootes to Escarpment parks system. With community support, the Hamilton Conservation Authority and partners are raising funds to restore lands adjacent to the 175-year old Desjardins Canal and secure open space between Hamilton Harbour, Cootes Paradise and the Niagara Escarpment.
