More than 5,000 people attended Soupfest 11 last week.
The event, which supports Living Rock Ministries, offered guests the chance to sample mouth-watering creations for a good cause.
Soups were judged in several categories. Collins Brewhouse got the nod for Best Display, with its Creoled Bison with Heirloom Tomatoes and Black Bean Soup, while the Thristy Cactus’s Lobster Poutine was first runner-up.
The Most Creative award went to Baci Ristorante’s Salted Caramel Apple with Smoked Chicken soup; first runner up was the Caramelized Onion and Sweet Potato soup presented by Taylor’s Tea Room.
Copetown Woods 4th Course Bistro won in the Best Grown Local category – and took top honours for Best soup – for its Roasted Tomato with Pancetta and Mascarpone Cheese recipe.
