Junior kindergarten students at Lee Academy in Lynden are all set to rocket into space in their LASA (Lee Academy Space Agency) space suits. The students are learning about Earth and other planets and are keenly following Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield’s mission to the International Space Station. Lee Academy, JK to Grade 8, hosts an open house from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Jan. 25. Parents and families are welcome to visit and tour the school.
