The Stoney Creek Canada Flag Day Festival committee, in partnership with the Battlefield House Museum and Park bicentennial committee, held its third annual Regency Family Picnic last Sunday at Battlefield Park.

The event featured activities, games and music.

It also included a Binbrook Little Theatre performance, regency fashion show, hat contest, dance and musket demonstrations.

Pictured here, first photo and second photo, two-year-old Isla Sturgeon and three-year-old Marshall Deschamps play with an old-fashioned toy; third photo, Sprinkles on Top’s Mackenna Mulligan, left, and Kirsten Marshall, right, serve up some ice cream; fourth photo, the Cottonwood Brass perform for attendees; fifth photo, violinist Stephen Fuller plays for event goers; and sixth photo, Nancy Kinsman, right, demonstrates how to make 19th century textiles.
